You call 4 inches of snow a "dusting"?! I can tell you don't live in Virginia! Love the pictues of your sweet puppies.

Oh, they are lovely! And having so much fun! Thanks for sharing!

In the second picture, they look a little like baby polar bears! I hadn't heard about the snowfall...brrr. There's almost nothing cuter than puppies playing in the snow -- although leaping lambs come pretty close. Thanks for the smiles!

And now we get to enjoy your first snow, too! Thanks!

Wow what a change from your post a couple days ago. You were moving the sheep in the sunshine, now you have snow! You have got to love fall! Your pups are super cute :) Have a wonderful snow day!!

love the joy in their faces!

I love that there isn't a flat spot left in the yard. They managed to play with every flake!

How precious!

Thanks Barb...they are cute!! Hopefully playing in the snow took care of some of that puppy energy. :-)

SNOW??? NO!!!!

Those pups certainly enjoy much more than me. How fun to watch them frolic. (now there's a word we don't get to use often!)

How cute, the pups not the snow. Thank you for sharing their adorableness(I think I just made up a new word, but it fits them).

Sooo cute! Nothing like puppies and their first taste and romp in snow. We got a dusting, but tomorrow night looks like 7- 12 inches of snow.

LOVE their exuberance! And even our old dog looked like a puppy playing in our snow today!

they are having fun! These pups are so adorable! The snow is gorgeous.

What happy puppies!

My daughter & her husband have two (adult) goldens. One of them loves to make "snow angels." Seriously. He lies down on his back in the snow and thrashes his front & back paws around. The resulting imprint looks exactly like a kid's snow angel.

Ya gotta love goldens! That permanent smile on their faces. Their never-ending joie de vivre. They make everyone around them happy.

Oh the joys that a puppy brings, I love their full blown enthusiasm for life, Brings back memories of my three Standards.Your pups are sure growing fast!

Puppies enjoying first snow are so wonderful! I'm hoping we get some this year, so Cosmo will get to try it out. If not, we may just have to carry him up the mountain for a bit of a romp. Wonderful!

Love the pups! It's hard to imagine goldens not liking anything but I'm glad they enjoyed the snow. (My sister's bulldog is a bit horrified at the start of winter.)

My twelve-year-old golden is loving the cooler weather here, and has been known to nap in the snow. I am a bit concerned that it's because she is so old that she just forgets to come in. Your pups are adorable.

The puppies are absolutely adorable. My heart wants a dog so very much, but my brain says no way. They are a lot of work, but I do know that They give so much back.
I hope you are okay. It's been awhile since your last post.
Happy New Year and give the puppies a hug for me.

Missing you!

what are the breeds of those puppies? they are so cute! :)

The pups are Golden Retrievers. They are from U.K. bloodlines which is why they look blonder than most Goldens.

They are sweet. We adore them.

Oh my! It's been awhile since I've visited your blog, and it's too wonderful to see such lovely pups! And, yes, Goldens are the BEST!
We lost our beautiful Scout in 12/10 and now have Remy, who will be one year on 1/16 and Journey who is a rescue from NJ and will be two on 5/7. Have to admit, it was 'culture' shock going from a calm adult male to two rambunctious youngsters!

Looks like Farley & Zoe have the best life ever!
